MICHAEL JACKSON WAS MURDERED?

LATEST: DEA agents, LAPD and Las Vegas police descend on home and office of Michael Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray armed with search warrant for medical records.

A law enforcement official told AP that Jackson was using the powerful sedative known as The Drip (Dripivan aka Propofol) to sleep. The drug typically used in hospital surgeries is administered via IV tube and the patient is monitored constantly with a EKG unit to check pulse and heart rate.

Toxicology reports are still pending but DEA Agents and LAPD detective investigating the June 25th sudden death of Michael Jackson are following the possible accidental manslaughter scenario that the Propofol stopped Jacko's heart and Jacko was believed to be using for at least two years.

Murray, 51, is the subject of a manslaughter investigation and his lawyer says he is cooperating with the investigation.

The ENQUIRER reported yesterday that paramedics described the horrific scene as they first responded - not recognized the already dead victim as Jacko. They also noted the empty IV vial, the protuding IV needle, and other IV delivery system apparatus but no EKG machine.

A police source suggests that Murray administered the drug to Jacko the evening before to enable slumber and then fell asleep sleep himself -- not monitoring his patient's vital signs which is SOP for operating room procedure involving IV use of narcotic sedatives.

When Murray awoke, the source says, Jacko was already dead - and had been for hours before someone in the house finally called 911.

But it was too late - hours too late - to do anything as docs pronounced the King of Pop DOA at UCLA Medical Center.

"She's not proud of being so secretive, but she can't face another round of strict dieting and rigorous exercise, and she fears surgery is the only way out!"

ANGELINA JOLIE PREGNANT AGAIN!

CHRIS BROWN PLEADS NOT GUILTY

Accused baby-face beat down artist Chris Brown plays innocent.

As expected, the 19 year old R&B singer,19, pleaded "not guilty" to charges he assaulted GF Rihanna during a lover's quarrel Feb 8 prior to the Grammy Awards..

The Barbados born thrush was not present but sent her lawyer in her stead.

Brown has been in negotiations to forge a plea deal sparing him slammer time. If convicted, he faces a 5 year sentence.

The charges stem from an horrific assault Brown gave the victim known only on official police records as Robyn F. after Brown received a booty call text message, prompting the conflagration.

Brown returns to Los Angeles Superior Court for another hearing April 29th.

MADONNA NOT ALLOWED TO ADOPT

A judge shot down Madonna's request to adopt a second child from Malawi.
The singer's lawyer, Alan Chinula, confirmed that Madge was not granted custody of 3-year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James and refused to discuss the ruling further.

Madonna, who was not in court, can appeal to the Supreme Court. A judge and another lawyer who saw the ruling, but where not associated with the case, told the Associated Press that Madonna was denied because of residency rules. Malawi adoption regulations require that prospective parents live in the southern African nation for at least 18 months.

However, the residency rule was waived in 2006 when Madonna was allowed to take her adopted son, David Banda, to London before his adoption was finalized in 2008. So it's unclear why the judge in the case ruled differently this time.

There is speculation that it could have to do with Madonna being single again, having divorced Guy Ritchie last year.

Malawi has close to 2 million orphans in need of help.

Madonna has been in Malawi with her three children -- 3-year-old David, 8-year-old son Rocco and 12-year-old Lourdes -- since last weekend. The singer, who filmed a documentary on the devastating poverty and AIDS crisis, is in the process of building a new school in the impoverished country.

RIHANNA AND CHRIS BROWN BACK TOGETHER?

Rihanna and Chris Brown are giving their relationship another try and Sean "Diddy" Combs is at the center of their secret rendezvous.

As Star reported in the March 2 issue, Rihanna just can't can't help her deep feelings for her boyfriend of more than a year. The two stayed in touch after the alleged assault that took place earlier this month which left Rihanna battered and bruised.

Now the couple is moving forward and spending time at Diddy's house on Star Island near Miami, Florida.

After celebrating her 21st birthday and recuperating in Mexico, it looks like Rihanna is ready to forgive and forget.

CHRIS BROWN APOLOGIZES ABOUT RIHANNA

It took almost a week, but the public has finally got an apology out of Chris Brown.

After allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna last weekend in Los Angeles, Chris released a statement Sunday saying he's sorry.

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person.

"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong.

"While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."

TED KENNEDY OK!

Senator Kennedy OK after seizure.

"After testing, we believe the incident was brought on by simple fatigue," Dr. Edward Aulisi, chairman of neurosurgery at Washington Hospital Center said in a statement issued from the ailing senator's office. The Kennedy family matriarch will be held overnight for observation and then hopefully released in the AM.

UPDATE 1:
Sen. Ted Kennedy has seizure, conscious when carried to ambulance during Obama luncheon. At George Washington University Hospital for evaluation.

The Lion of Senate who had been battling brain cancer collapsed today at the Capitol during a luncheon commemorating the Obama Inauguration.

ABC reported that Kennedy, 76, suffered convulsions.

"He seemed to be going into a kind of seizure," former Vice President Walter Mondale said

"I'm told he's doing much better now. He seemed to be in great difficulty for a brief period."

Contrary to previous reports that he was stricken as well, Kennedy pal, Senator Robert C. Byrd left the luncheon early to take care of business in his office.

Kennedy's collapse came just moments before Congress presented Pres. Obama and VP Joe Biden crystal balls and commemorative photos.

“It looked like a seizure and it was painful to him,” Sen. Orrin Hatch told CNN. “But as he gradually was able to calm down ... as he got into the ambulance he kind of looked over at me and smiled that old Irish smile that I know that things are going to be all right.”
