Michael Jackson's camp says that reports of his imminent death have been greatly exaggerated.
The King of Pop's spokesperson denies reports that the father of three needs a life-saving lung transplant. He also denies that the singer can barely speak, suffers from emphysema and internal bleeding, and has lost 95 percent of the vision in his left eye.
Reports of Jackson's supposed condition surfaced after writer/filmmaker Ian Halperin, who's working on a documentary and bio about Michael, was interviewed in the Britain's Daily Express newspaper. However, Halperin stands by his story telling one media outlet: "Due to Michael's denial I will not be speaking until next week, when I will release the facts, evidence and the true story behind all that has gone on."
One thing is for sure, Michael doesn't look healthy. On the rare occasions he is seen in public, the pale and gaunt star wears pajamas, walks slowly and frequently covers his face with surgical masks. Even a full face of makeup — including pink lipstick — doesn't make him appear healthier.
The singer recently refuted his brother Jermaine's claim that the Jackson 5 were reuniting for a tour but said he was "now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon."
No word on when the supposed tour will begin.
