Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell are giving a gift to the late Heath Ledger's daughter: their paychecks!
The actors — who helped complete Heath's final movie project, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, by playing versions of the late actors character — have donated their salaries from the film to Heath's daughter, Matilda. They decided to give the money to the two-year-old because Heath's will was created before the she was born and didn't include her.
"They didn't take money — it goes to Heath's daughter," Imaginarium director Terry Gilliam told Hollywood.com. "That's extraordinary! And wonderful... and when you're part of that, you think, 'Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.' And we've got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help."
Matilda has been having a busy summer traveling with her mother, Michelle Williams. The ladies were recently seen en route to Oregon with Michelle's new beau, Spike Jonze.
